The Mikazuki (三日月) Family is one of the 18 Assistant Houses, bearing the number Three (三) in their name.
Background
They are part of 18 Assistant Houses and are from the Third Institute, where the research focus was "Control of Multiple Magics." The intent was to test the limit of how many magics could be activated at the same time as well as raising that limit as part of their Magician Augmentation Project. [1]
The Third Institute, while being in operation, is managed by the Mitsuya Family along with the Mikazuki Family. [2]
