Yamanaka Kousuke (山中 幸典) is a member of the National Defense Force 101 Independent Magic-Equipped Battalion. He holds the rank of Major.
Background[]
Not much is known about Dr. Yamanaka. However, he is said to be the best healer in 101 Independent Magic-Equipped Battalion. Yamanaka is first seen together with the rest of the battalion officers when Tatsuya meets them in the Nine Schools Competition. [1]
He is later seen together with Fujibayashi Kyouko watching Tatsuya's match in the Monolith Code should any of the military's magic is exposed in the competition. He is noted for having specifically asked for permission to conduct experiments on other people, something which he seems very keen to perform on Tatsuya especially after witnessing him use Flash Cast and Regrowth to recover from a lethal attack in the competition. He is also noted for liking the taste of alcohol. [2]
