Ichijou Midori (一条 美登里) is the wife of Ichijou Gouki, Head of the Ichijou Family, which is one of the Ten Master Clans.[1] Her maiden name was Isshiki and she is a blood relative of the Isshiki family who specializes in Nerve Disturbance, a magic that is perfect for neutralizing without killing.[2]

Midori is a housewife who maintains her family's home along with the help of maids and home automation robots(HAR). Despite the availability of HAR's, Midori still makes her daughters do the cooking, laundry and tidying on a daily rotation as she mentions that she would find it too embarassing to present her daughters for marriage when they couldn't even do that much. She also enjoys shopping, cooking but still prefers to actually view the products she is buying personally rather than just ordering them online and also views Kichijouji Shinkurou as part of her family that she would invite Kichijouji to live in their home instead but Kichijouji would reluctantly decline since living in the research facility has its own convenience.
